Monthly Favourites #12 - March

It's that time of the month where I look back and share some of my fave things with you! Ranging from songs, TV and movies, to whatever lies in the random section!

Song
I have become a massive Fifth Harmony fangirl over the past few months, and their new album is due out in a few weeks, and this Work From Home song is amazing and super catchy!! Can't wait to hear the rest of the album!

Picture
My favourite picture from this month has to be of these lovely goodies that I was sent from Emma who works at a PR company! I done a little promo tweet about the new Supernatural seasons on DVD/Blu-Ray and these are what I was sent as a thank you! Not seen any of these films so I'm excited to watch them all!

TV Show
I have been LOVING this show this season, and after so many more revelations and story lines being wrapped up - we're left on another cliffhanger and a WTF moment! I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but we're finally starting to get to the bottom of why Annalise feels the way she does with Wes...

Movie
Having gone to the cinema twice this month - once for Deadpool and then for BvS - it was hard to pick which of the two I liked the most. I am religiously a Marvel fangirl and loved Deadpool so much, and thought it was hilarious - BUT... Batman Vs Superman was just freaking awesome.
I saw this on Sunday, and had my doubts about it. I'm all #TeamBale as Batsy, but Affleck knocked it out of the park and he really made it his own. The story was great, the bad guy wasn't who I expected it to be... AND OMG THE ENDING!!!!!! Really, please go and watch this!

Random Section
So for the random section, I've gone with this image of my new Fiorelli bag that I bought while shopping with Nicola. I love these bags so much and this was on sale for £20 which I think is pretty decent!

Hope you enjoyed these faves for March! What have you loved this month from each category? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe!

Picture Perfect #2

Having had a pretty exhausting weekend of work, and a very busy week, I decided it was time for another little 'life lately' post. I stopped doing my monthly overview posts as I felt they were getting too long winded, but I still want to share some snaps of my life with you now and then.

Here are some snap shots of my life and the things I've been up to, since the middle of February! Hope you enjoy this pretty pic heavy post!
Kicked off the month with lovely British weather

Tried a wavy hair technique and I love it!!

Had a small flurry of snow!

A random sunny day meant I could break out the Spring dresses

Another BH Cosmetics haul

I won a MAC lipstick in a giveaway and what better way to show it off than with a stupid face!

Another Saturday at work!

Fancy bun hair for the shift where I was Supervisor! (yes I was let loose and left in charge with Andrew!)

Had a day shopping with Nicola! Watch the vlog here!

Got myself a gorgeous Fiorelli bag in the sales

Purple false nails for a week off work and a night out!

Bought a lot of goodies from Yours Clothing and done a haul video of the items!

Sill obsessed with the Galaxy Chic palette and have used it a lot this past month!

What have you been up to lately and how often do to take pictures for memories? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :))

TRESemme Cleanse & Replenish 2in1 Shampoo + Conditioner

I'm not a huge hair care person so I use minimal products in my locks just so it is never weighed down too much, and because my hair is quite thin it never has much volume. However, some mornings when I don't have time for a lengthy shower so I can ponder my life choices, this 2in1 shampoo has been a lifesaver.

I used to use these 2in1 products all the time before I started beauty blogging, and then jumped on the separate bottles for shampoo and conditioner bandwagon - even tried the reserve method a few times (which is a whole other story...)

You can pick this up from Superdrug for £4.99 for a 900ml bottle, and as it's TRESemme, you know it's a decent brand.

Using this has shaved about 4 minutes off my showering time, so saving water (bonus) and being left with silky soft hair afterwards is pretty amazing in my book. As it has the shampoo and conditioner in the formula, you just rinse the hair, use about a 10p coin sized splodge of this, wash it in and rinse it back out.

I still have super soft hair which looks amazing after using this, and works just as well as the two separate products. I love that it's that little bit quicker as well for when I'm in a rush after oversleeping!

Have you tried this before and what 2in1 products have you tried that you loved? Let me know! Also, what hair products are you loving right now? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

Helpful Websites For Bloggers

Sometimes the blog world can get a bit confusing or hectic - and sometimes you honest to God, do not know anything about HTML or scheduling. You've not got the time to sit and learn it all and that's fine!

It took me about 18 months to figure out how to do layouts and certain HTML widgets, but I've got to a point where I'm quite confident to change the coding when needed. I've always known the basics to HTML and picture editing as this was something I learnt from school!

However, not everyone does, so here are some helpful websites for you budding bloggers who might want a little helping hand! These are for help with HTML, picture editing, scheduling and free picture sites and more!

This website is perfect for finding some stock pictures that are free for you to use on your blog. Remember using images from Google could lead to copyright infringements, so using free image sites are safest to do!
You just search for what you'd like and pick from the results. Unless you upgrade to a premium account, the images are few, but there are still enough to work with for free!

I love PicMonkey! It's totally free to use, but there are ads on the pages that can make it run a little slow sometimes. You can upgrade to the Royale version which is totally ad free, and costs $4.99 per month. You really don't need to pay this at all as there are plenty of free features! If you use it a lot though or annoyed by ads, then maybe think about upgrading :)
With this website, you can edit pictures, touch them up, create images or make collages. I mainly use the collage feature for my YouTube video thumbnails, but occasionally use the edit feature for picture and text editing!

This website is so handy for learning the basics of HTML coding! You can do the basics such as font size, colour and font - as well as how to make things in bold or italics. There are some more 'tricky' ones such as how to make forms or tables.

I have an account on TinyPic, and if you want to use it frequently, I'd suggest signing up - it's all free! Just pic the image you want to upload and any addition information you want to add, and then upload!
Once it's uploaded, you'll have a list of links to use for the image. For HTML and layouts, you'll want the image link under 'Direct Link for Layouts' - Just copy and paste this where you want and you're all good to go!

Most blogs have a 'grab my button' widget in the sidebar (I have one!) and they are super helpful for doing blog button swaps with others, or when I need to take a blog button from someone for their blog advertising!
All you have to do is enter your blog URL and title as well as the location of the image. I use TinyPic to host my images, so you just enter the link for the image in the final box and then they generate a HTML code for you to enter on your blog in the sidebar or where ever you'd like it to be.
If you're on blogger, you'd go to:: Layout > add gadget > HTML > paste the coding > save!

I could rave about Buffer all the time. In fact I probably do on Twitter.
Buffer is a scheduling website, and it's amazing. You can schedule tweets, facebook posts, pins on pinterest and google +.
Even though I have my Pinterest account connected, I very rarely use this as I don't use Pinterest too often. I do use Twitter and the Facebook page for my blog a lot though, so this is so handy!
Simply sign up for a free account, connect it to the social media platform you'd like to use and then add content to the site and it will publish at the times you set it for, or the times set by the optimal time tool.
You can track the time the tweet has been retweeted, liked or click on as well - which is very handy to see how interaction works with each one.

Hope this has been helpful to you in some way, and I'll be carrying on with these 'blogger tip' posts over the next few months I think! If you try them out, let me know how it goes for you! What other sites do you use for blogging? Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

BH Cosmetics Haul | March

My love and obsession with BH Cosmetics is getting worse with each payday, and right now, I've gone and bought some more goodies from them!! Considering they are a USA based company, I can place and order with them on a Thursday and have it on my doorstep the following Friday. Amazing!

Here's a little haul of goodies I purchased at the end of February!

I'm still after a few bits from them, but will grab them on my next payday! I've used them all once or twice in the past week, and have loved the results. I'll do full reviews on everything over the next few months once I've tried them all for longer!

The Pride, Prejudice and Zombies palette has to be my fave thing in the haul. I still want to see the film, and this gorgeous set of eye shadows and blushers makes me want to go fight a zombie apocalypse while looking on fire. I'd scare them away with my awesome shadow blending skills!

All of the products are of such high quality and pigmentation, that you really do get what you paid for, plus some!

Have you heard of BH Cosmetics before and have you tried any of their products? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)
