Fave TV Shows Of 2017

I love TV waaaay more than I probably should - plus I found some new shows this year, that I've been captivated by. My sister lets me steal her Netflix account, so she has a lot to answer for... Here are the TV shows I've really enjoyed this year!

WARNING: POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!

Daredevil & Luke Cage
Started watching this around Easter time, and managed to get this, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and then season two all done by about August! I love the characters, plus how awesome are the fight scenes?? Can't wait to see what happens with Elektra and the scary ninjas - I've not quite finished Iron Fist yet, and haven't started the Defenders!

RuPaul's Drag Race
SHANTE YOU STAY! My sister and I started this back in January with a couple of episodes of season two. It started out as a WTF are we watching... But it's become my fave show of the year. I'm now obsessed with Drag Queens, Mama Ru, Michelle Visage, and the killer lip-syncs. I'm in awe of how amazing these Queens are. From their fashion, to their makeup skills, I now want to go see a Drag show just to experience one for myself. I still firmly believe that Ginger Minj was robbed of the crown in season 7, Bianca is my fave winner, and Alyssa Edwards is my QUEEN.

The Flash
This was also a fave from last year, and it's made the list again. It's amazing. I'm in love with Cisco, and this season has been great so far. Plus getting to see how all the characters have grown since the last season has been fab. I loved the massive Earth X crossover with Arrow, Supergirl and Legends - so good!

Chicago PD
I love Chicago Fire/Med as well, but Chicago PD has stepped it up this year. The story lines have been beyond incredible, and I've been on the edge of my seat. I'm still not over Erin leaving, but I'm enjoying the new faces in Intelligence. I've also got a huge crush on Atwater 💖

How To Get Away With Murder
This show just keeps getting more gripping. At the start of the year we found out it was Wes who was killed in the house explosion, and then we see Annalise's decent into alcoholism. The how story arc of her drinking has been handled really well so far, but I think it won't be long until it all falls apart for her again. I have to say, Viola Davis is such a fantastic actor. I could literally watch her for hours!

The Gifted
This has been a show I've been watching with M each week, and the pair of us love it. Sometimes we're a couple of episodes behind, but we then get to see two in a row. Bonus! I've loved the characters through this so far, and can't wait to see how the rest of the season pans out.

South Park
Another new show of this year! M has been a fan of this for years, so he wanted to show me some episodes. I'm hooked. It's so rude and on topic of a lot of what is going on in the world, while being funny with - in a sweary cartoon way. I'm still laughing at Cartman's '10 Dorra' outrage during the Cock Magic episode, and the Sons of Witches episode was so funny!

There are at least another 20+ shows that I've watched this year, but these are the ones I've really got into this year. What TV shows have you been loving in 2017? Let me know! Hope you have a great day and keep safe :)

  2. Great list, some I need to check out myself. Only one I've seen and liked from the list is Daredevil. Oh, I've seen some South Park episodes too.. but not in order, just random ones here and there and probably from the earlier seasons.
