22nd of September hailed the arrival of Autumn, and honestly where has this year gone?? I swear it was freaking May like 3 seconds ago, and we were in a heatwave! Where has 2024 gone?
Autumn has been my favourite season for as long as I can remember, so here are 8 things/reasons why I love this season so much!
- Colder weather
- Jumpers, cardigans, snuggly pyjamas - they are all back in season!
- Autumnal colours
- Reds, oranges, golds. Everywhere looks like it's about to feature a Hallmark movie for the season
- Heating is back on!
- The house feels cosy, and you just don't want to go out
- Bonfire Night
- Warm fires, and hopefully some socially distancing fireworks displays might be on
- TV Shows
- Although some shows are delayed until winter 2024, a few TV shows are returning this Autumn, and I am excited for some new things to watch!
- Fluffy socks
- Need I say more?
- Friends and family meet ups
- As it's a bit colder in this season, most of my family and friend meetings are in the confines of someone's warm house!
- Staying Home
- I am a home girl. I like to stay home, do nothing and be left in peace. Nothing makes me happier! This colder weather means more time snuggled up in my bed with some seasonal movies on!
